VIVIRAD engineers electron processing contingencies around your products specificity. Safe, reliable and fully automated industrial processes are available from 500 kev to 5 Mev. Most of them include VIVIRAD exclusive solutions providing superior processing performances and throughput.

Power supply

Industrial accelerators produced by VIVIRAD are powered by highly energy efficient Insulated Core Transformers (I.C.T.). This technology associates undisputed reliability to minimal operation costs.

Accelerators

The accelerator sections are conservatively rated to allow for low maintenance long lasting operation. One to three accelerators can simultaneously be connected to and independently operated in current from a single power supply.

Scanners

Dose distribution is a key processing factor and several exclusive solutions based on multiple scanners have been implemented to optimize the treatment quality for various applications.

 

Controls

From the strict process regulation to the global integrity of an industrial unit, VIVIRAD usually manages all automation needs and can program the full E.P.S.® operation up to quality reporting.

Radiation protection & security systems

All occupational and radiation safety concerns are addressed along the most stringent European and American standards. VIVIRAD assumes the engineering responsibility for all active and passive security of its systems.

 

Gas transfer system and auxiliary equipment

Depending on each request, VIVIRAD E.P.S.® can be delivered as stand alone units, as enslaved pieces of process equipment or as fully integrated processing lines. All pre or post treatment utilities can be considered in the initial scope of supply.

    Facility study

    Self shielded and Hybrid E.P.S.® generate modest implantation requirements while systems with energies beyond 1,5 Mev require secured concrete construction.

    All facility study works are managed by VIVIRAD architect and engineers in close cooperation with customer staff to deliver a safe and efficient processing environment.

    Installation & turn key option

    Upon Customer’s demand, Vivirad can take general contractor responsibilities supervising all supplies selection, construction works, power and water networks selection and installation, exhaust and security devices implementation until process acceptance.

    Pre-production & In-Line integration

    Pre-production & In-Line integration

    Pre- production can be run in our premises for validating process contingencies during factory testing of new Hybrid or Self-shielded equipment

    While some E.P.S.® are stand alone units with pre and post treatment transfers only, others need to be integrated in line global processes requiring interfaced operation and utilities.

    Vivirad is familiar integrating specific programs into its own systems when master or interfacing to other environments when enslaved.

    Maintenance

    Maintenance

    Daily cleaning and inspections are secured by local operator teams provided they have followed the adequate training. Specific maintenance operations are usually programmed in close coordination with production contingencies and VIVIRAD Maintenance Service.

    Should curative maintenance be needed, VIVIRAD Field Engineers travel at the earliest to restore the E.P.S.® to nominal operation provided all required spares are found available on site.

    Personal training

    Personal training

    Customer’s technical staff are welcomed to take part in dedicated theoretical training sessions that are delivered at VIVIRAD premises upon facility study remittance for a new installation. 

    During the implantation of a system on site, local operator and maintenance teams are expected to participate in most of the installation works in order to get acquainted with the functional requirements of the unit.
